Hennie de Klerk – CEO
Hennie de Klerk founded TreasuryONE Proprietary Limited in June 2000. With more than 20 years’ experience in the field of treasury, Hennie has built the company on his commitment to unlock financial value and for TreasuryONE to become a business asset to our clients. Hennie is a regular speaker at treasury conferences and author of various treasury articles. Apart from his passion for treasury Hennie is an avid racing driver and competed in the 2018 Dakar Challenge finishing 28th overall and winning the Rookie trophy. Andre Cilliers – Director and Currency Risk Specialist
Andre’s career in treasury started in 1983. He has extensive treasury experience in both the banking and corporate arenas. For the last 15 years of his banking career, Andre headed up Treasury for a German international bank in South Africa. He joined TreasuryONE in 2008. Andre studied at the University of Pretoria and has attended treasury courses both locally and internationally – including the O’Connell & Piper options and derivatives course in Chicago. As a leading currency risk specialist in SA Andre is a regular guest on TV and radio.
Wichard Cilliers – Director and Head of Dealing
Wichard joined TreasuryONE in 2004 and was appointed as head of dealing in 2009 and holds a B Com degree from the University of Pretoria. As an expert in currency and commodity trading, Wichard is a regular market commentator on various print media and radio. He’s not just fanatical about the markets but also about sports and has completed four Sani2c mountain bike races and his first half Ironman in 2016. Adding to his list of cycling achievement he completed the 2018 Attakwas Cycle Race and has entered the 2019 Absa Cape Epic race.
Rudolph Janse van Rensburg – Director and Head of Treasury Technology
Rudolph joined TreasuryONE in 2007 and heads up our treasury technology division. Under his guidance, more than 45 treasury system implementations have been completed. During 2018 Rudolph has added robotics (process automation) to the team and to various TreasuryONE processes. Rudolph holds a B Comm Accounting and a B Comm (Hons) in Financial Management, from the University of Johannesburg. His interests include golf, mountain biking, and soccer.
Alet Opperman – Commercial Director
Alet’s years of experience in various operations management roles ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the TreasuryOne office. Alet holds a B Com Investment Management degree from the University of Johannesburg. Her recent studies include attending the Management Advancement Programme at Wits University. Her interests include sport, photography and road running.
Alba Schabort – Financial Director
Alba was a Director of GKL Auditors Inc. before she joined TreasuryONE in September 2014 as Financial Director. She completed her studies through Unisa and completed her articles in 2009. Alba adds a wealth of audit and tax knowledge to the TreasuryONE team.
Marius Schoeman – Chairman of the Board
Marius is an experienced business executive, chartered accountant and chartered director with experience in various industries including, among others the Audit Profession, Oil & Gas, and ICT. He has a career distinguished by success in organisational leadership, principal consultant and C-Level positions. With extensive governance oversight and operational experience, including operating within various Shared Services environments, he provides a value-add in governance best-practice from a Multi-National and Combined Assurance Perspective.
Katlego Tlale – Non-executive Director
Katlego as CFO and Head of Business Enablement at the Letsema group is responsible for managing the group’s finances across its different divisions and acquisitions in conjunction with other members of the executive team. Articles were completed at KPMG and Katlego gained extensive experience in the mining sector and specifically treasury during his tenure as Gold One Group Financial Reporting and Treasury Manager.
